Course Description: Make a wooden frame with mirror. Chipcarving is a style of carving used to decorate wooden surfaces and is found in many cultures around the world. It is a way of carving by which small chips of wood are removed from the surface of an object with chisels to form a decorative pattern. This course is aimed at beginners and provides a foundation for woodcarving in general. To practice the techniques learnt you will design and carve a wooden frame. At the end of the course you will go home with a fully assembled wooden frame with mirror. Course fee includes ALL materials.
