ART & CRAFT

Watercolour for Beginners

Picture
Saturday 28 May, 9am-3pm, 1 day, $125
Watercolour is a very spontaneous and individual method of painting, making it both fun and challenging.  It can be used to sketch ideas or to complete more complex, finished works. Follow a step-by-step process with exercises that will explore both traditional (wet on dry) and contemporary techniques (wet on wet).  Further explore these drawing techniques into painting geometric/organic objects in monochrome, or for the more daring, polychrome.  Watercolour is about suggestion, gestural marking, saying 'a lot with a little'.
