CHAKRADANCE

Feel more balanced and joyful. Chakradance puts you in touch with the sacred within yourself. It helps you re-connect with your own soul, unique and beautiful. Dancing the seven chakras is like dancing into seven different worlds, seven different facets of your whole self, each with their own lessons, meanings and stories. As a practice, it helps you to feel more balanced, more joyful, and to radiate your own true colours out into the world. Most classes conclude with participants creating a personal mandala artwork, to help ‘anchor’ their experience and for their own personal use in reflecting on the class in the following days. Think of Chakradance as a dynamic moving meditation. This term we will be completing all nine dances together. Join Julianne Rose, Chakradance facilitator, NZAC Counsellor and mindfulness coach. With life expectancy on the rise and an aging population growing rapidly, we face a unique global challenge. Systems are stretched to their limits and more often, aged care responsibilities fall to unprepared family members and whānau. This course provides a practical and insightful guide for anyone stepping into the life-changing role of parenting their parents. It also serves as a template for younger individuals who wish to mindfully prepare for their later years. Drawing from extensive research and her personal experience in parenting her own parents Susan offers guidance on critical questions surrounding the best, most appropriate personalised care for your loved ones or yourself, if you’re planning ahead. This course addresses the various concerns of families dealing with parental frailty, dementia, and elderly care.
