Revitalise your body, relax your mind, reduce stress, and reconnect with your inner sense of well-being in this thoughtfully crafted class. This session combines a slow to moderate flowing practice with mindful stretching, offer-ing a blend of movement and stillness to help you feel good in your body! Start by exploring the fundamentals of a moderate-paced flow, focusing on mindful movement that cultivates balance, stability, flexibility, and strength. As the class progresses, we’ll wind down with deeper stretches, incorporating elements of Yin & Restorative Yoga to promote deep relax-ation and emotional release, Suitable for all levels. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat.

SELF DEFENCE—FOR EVERYONE

Unlock the power of self-defence with techniques inspired by Aikido, Judo, Jujutsu, & Kung Fu, all without throws. This class emphasizes balance, fluid coordinated movements, & redirection to neutralize threats. Enhance your situational awareness & build the confidence to navigate your surroundings safely. Our self-defence class integrates both physical & mental training to boost your confidence in various scenarios, such as dealing with agitated customers or coworkers, recognizing and escaping risky situations, saying ’No!’ to unwanted peer pressure, & confronting immediate dangers or threats. While direct confrontation with a violent threat is a key aspect, there’s much more to learn. Grounded in traditional wisdom yet tailored for modern self-defence, this approach empowers you to remain calm, focused, & in control. Your tutor, Martyn-James Atkinson, is a highly accomplished professional in both self-defence & the teaching industry.

Take your photos to the next level by learning the fundamental skills and theory of good photography.  Break away from ‘auto mode’ and get the best results from your camera. Discover shutter speeds, apertures and look at composition and lighting. Learn to use the full capabilities of your camera to produce professional looking photos. This is a practical workshop designed for beginners and suitable for both SLR and compact digital cameras. ​
